NTA Releases JEE Main 2026 Session-I Final Answer Key: Check Dropped Questions & Option IDsThe National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the Final Answer Key for JEE Main 2026 Session-I (Paper-1) for B.E./B.Tech candidates. This final key follows the review of challenges submitted by students against the provisional key released earlier in February. Candidates who appeared for the exam at centers across India and in 15 cities outside India can now access the comprehensive PDF containing the correct Option IDs for all shifts.What’s New in the Final Answer Key?The 2026 Session-I was conducted from January 21 to January 29. Based on the expert review, the NTA has dropped several questions across different shifts. According to the official policy:For Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs): If a question is dropped, full marks are awarded to all candidates who appeared in that specific shift, regardless of whether they attempted it.For Numerical Value Questions: If a question is dropped, full marks are awarded only to those who attempted it.How to Calculate Your Score:Using the final answer key and your recorded response sheet:Correct Answer: Add +4 Marks.Incorrect Answer: Subtract 1 Mark (-1).Dropped Question: Check the NTA guidelines for bonus marks (+4).This final answer key is the definitive document used to prepare the JEE Main 2026 NTA Scores (Percentile).
